What the trial measured
The reported gradient down the field
THE STANDOUT RESULT- Brix readings of roughly 10 to 12 in the area receiving water from the unit.
- Readings taper by about two points moving down the field, falling to roughly 4 to 6 at the untreated far end, described as back to normal.
- Berries in the treated area are described as two to three times larger, with up to three times the sugar content.
- A visible line of demarcation sits roughly 1,000 feet down the field from the unit.
- The effect is described as extending across the field even though the device sits buried roughly 15 feet from the point of comparison.

Strawberries are a Brix crop. Sugar sets the grade, the price and the shelf life, so a grower talking about a two-point swing is talking about money in a way that a turf manager talking about liters is not.
The structure of the claim is unusual and worth noting: not a treated field against a control field, but a gradient within one field, running down from the unit to a visible line about a thousand feet away. If that line is real and repeatable it would be straightforward to sample properly.
Which is exactly what has not happened. Every figure here is spoken. No refractometer readout on camera, no sampling points, no dates, no log. The video is promotional, featuring the installer alongside the grower, and neither soil composition nor plant age nor irrigation volume down the length of the field is ruled out as an explanation for a gradient.
This one is published because a grower said it and the claim is specific enough to test. A field with a visible demarcation line is close to an ideal candidate for a proper paired sampling run, and until somebody does that run this is a story rather than a result.
